Consider integrating global-level chat with rooms

So there is a default room, and a room for every project that has enabled this functionality (see my configuration-related issue). Obviously, if you're a dev in a project, you can join that room, otherwise its only by invitation. Perhaps one of the existing nice Node.js chats or something could be integrated nicely?
