Relative image in markdown README

I have this code in my README.md: 
Gitlab show the Readme and tries to link to this image: http://domain.tld/project/master/screenshot.png but it would be nice if it could be rewritten to: http://domain.tld/project/master/blob?path=screenshot.png so it would show up in the README.
