Issue with some characters in files and folders name

Some characters like é à ç è in files name and folders name make the UI get a 500 error.
Example with folder: http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/3540/capturedu20120911093108.png When going in: http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/9523/capturedu20120911093205.png
Same error with files. Browsing the folder containing the file raise an error and listing is incomplete. This issue look like this one, closed month ago #868
Gitlab version used is the last stable 2.8.2. It's a fresh install. OS is ubuntu server 12.04 64bits. All is UTF-8.
