password changes are ignored, if using ldaps omniauth

Hi,
i successfully installed gitlab with omniauth via lapd. I am able to login in, but when i change my password from within gitlab, theses change is written to the database but not the ldap. Therefore the password doesn't change.
Would it be more userfriendly to either disable the change password dialog or change the password also in the ldap (given the userobject is writeable by the user)?
