CSS: Flash notifications cover action bar

When flash notifications are shown (for example, right after logging in), the notification slides down and covers the action bar. This is annoying if you want to click something on the action bar (for example, to navigate to your profile) after logging in.
It would be nice if the styling/animation of the flash notifications changed so that they don't cover clickable actions.
