Host Name shows git@localhost

Created by: spuder

I have installed from scratch on Ubuntu 12.10 several times. It installs successfully, and I am able to create git repos, however the repository addresses always say "git@localhost". I would expect it to say git@someAwesomeGitServer http://i46.tinypic.com/11u7re9.png

The result is that I am unable to clone a git repository.

I did not use the setup script mentioned in the install guide because it has issues on ubuntu 12.10.

Coud this be caused because I chose "No configuration" in step 1. PostFix configuration? http://i47.tinypic.com/28ldxxy.png
