Resque is not working

My resque worker is not working. The status shows that they are waiting for a job and email notifications are not sent to the user.
I used to set resque up with the old version of gitlab but I have no idea why it's not working. As I ran command to start resque worker, it said rake abort! getaddrinfo: Name or service not known. Are there any way to fix that?
