Gitlabhq will not work, when default user info for git is not set

Even after successful install gitlabhq will not work properly for... "unknown" reason. It's because there MUST be user info set for it, without doing that git will refuse to commit changes. Of course it's not a bug, but this should be pointed out in some visible place - I've lost last few hours figuring that out.
