'Master' user can be demoted by lesser user

Created by: tul

Hi guys,

In one of my gitlab projects I've got the master role. One of the team members on the project is demoting me, perhaps by accident. It has reoccurred a couple of times, possibly by them re-requesting the page they accidentally did the change on in the first place, causing the change to be done again. I've no easy way of finding out how it is to tell them to be careful!

It seems to me that as only master can add new team members, only master should be able to change their roles also?

At the very least, perhaps a user should only be able to change the roles of lesser privileged users?

Thanks for a great and useful product,

Mark
