I have checked the logs, and it doesn't tell me anything other than a 404 happened. gitolite-admin does get updated, but the sqlite does not.

I've been able to trace it back, and the issue isn't in the server perms AFAIK. Rolling back to this commit fixed it: https://github.com/gitlabhq/gitlabhq/commit/f9758c726fb07d3045711c48809c72c09e930447

I'm guessing it's one of the commits afterwards. However, I know very little ruby, I'll try to look as much as i can, hopefully i can be of some help.

simple solution that worked for me:

• pull head
• migrate db

There is a new db table that needs to be created in the db.

--> works!
