I'm trying out the master branch because you can serve it from non-root directories (which I need in my environment). I uncommented the line (relative_url_root) in gitlab.yml and unicorn.rb and changed the location in my Nginx site config. I ran gitlab:check (everything passed) and assets:clean (no problems there). After restarting Nginx and GitLab, I was able to access the site at http://dev.mysite.com:81/gitlab/ and everything works except that clicking on the Files and Commits tab within all projects gives a 404 error. I can still view specific commits, do compares, etc. without any problems. Is there an issue somewhere in the code or could it just be something on my end?
