Feature Request: consolidated UI for managing protected brances

Currently, protecting a branch requires opening its project, navigating through Commits tab, to Branches tab, to Protected menu, and then submitting each branch individually to be protected. This is laborious for an organization creating many projects.
Ideally a search-oriented interface for selecting multiple branches of various projects, simultaneously would be more efficient. Similar to adding a user to multiple projects, when you first create the user; the auto-complete is very nice.
