missing project nav-tabs

When running newest 5.0 stable release, the project navigation tabs as pictured below have disappeared. The tests all pass, but that nav bar is missing, not just hidden. It is gone from the html.
I've been trying to double check on another Gitlab 5.0 instance, but http://demo.gitlabhq.com/ seems to be unreachable. Can someone verify whether this is only happening to me?
