Sidekiq using 31.8 GB of my diskspace

Hey,
I noticed this issue when I was upgrading to 5.0 and copying the files from gitlab to git and it failed because of no available disk space. It found out that the sidekiq log file had 31.8 GB. I deleted it and everything worked fine.
How can this happen?
