Sorry if that's a dup of some other issue I couldn't find using search.

Here example: When I select current branch from the drop-down menu I expect it to be so until I choose another one. But sadly this doesn't happen. When I click on commit to read what was changed and then go back to see other commits - the current branch is no more the ranch I selected myself, few seconds ago, but default branch of the project.

I believe remembering user-chosen branch is more user-friendly than existing behavior.
