So far I've seen 2 issues with email notifications: #3728 (closed) Where the wall notification is not sent.

Also using the "@" does not send a notification when I post a comment.

I would expect both of the actions to result in an email (I know the wall worked in 5.0). All gitlab checks pass and emails are sent when I do something like add a user to a project.

Where did the checkbox go that used to allow you to select who gets notified?
