we are trying to update gitlab version from 5.2-to-5.3 in our cent os (v6.2)

we have followed : https://github.com/gitlabhq/gitlabhq/blob/master/doc/update/5.2-to-5.3.md

step 2 : git fetch -- is not working - the below mentioned error occurs .

git-remote-https: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

please let us know - if anything we missed
