New GitLab 5.4 (checkout from 5-4-stable) is 6.0.0.pre

Fantastic application!
Just a little question. I have just cloned the repository and checked out the 5-4-stable branch. After installing this version, I get a brand new interface with "GitLab 6" in the login page and the 6.0.0.pre 707cea8d at http://myhostname/help Is that correct?
