Viewing commit diff and returning to previous page via link forgets branch selected

Created by: shadowbooker

GitLab 6.0

Whenever I click on a commit to view the diff it takes me to a new page, as designed. When I press the 'Commits' tab or the 'Commits' link up at the top, it resets the branch selected to 'master' thus every time I accidentally do this, I have to reselect my particular branch that I am working on.

I don't remember this functionality in previous versions of Gitlab, perhaps it is a bug or if it is by design, can we make the branch selected sticky for, say 30 minutes, if you don't want it to indefinitely stay on a selected branch.

Thanks, Mike
