gitlab openid authentication

We are developing new application using gitlab api which the app name is gitlab reports.It is useful for gitlab user repository statistics dashboard details such as issues,commits,branches etc.we will run as a new app server like gitlab server .so we want authentication if gitlab logged in users only go to our page.Is it possible ?
