Viewfile in merge request submitted from forked project throws 404

I am master of Group1/ProjectA. My colleague forked it as User1/ProjectA.
User1 makes changes in branch F1 and submits merge request from
User1/ProjectA # F1 to Group1/ProjectA # master.
While reviewing diff of merge request when I click on Viewfile button a 404 error gets thrown instead of showing file .
As a reviewer it is not feasible to have access to each and every fork.
