Show public projects by default

Can you either provide a configuration option or even make it the default that the /public page is shown when accessing the root of a GitLab installation (if a user is not logged in), instead of the sign in page? This would provider easier access to guests, and users could simply click the "Sign in" button at the top. Thanks! =)
