public projects can be seen by everyone in latest version

If gitlab is installed on intranet server, it's ok, but if on internet server, it's a bad way. First, if everyone can see public project created by me on my gitlab, why don't I use github, it is more popular. Second, I think the public projects should be only visited by someone that have access permissions to login, they should be intra public projects, not opened to everyone.
