[Feature] Standalone repo viewer

ungit allows you to just cd into your repository root and execute ungit to pop a browser window open where you can view and edit your repo.
I wish I could do the same with gitlab. To just be able to use it's interface to view random local repositories. No users, no databases, just to view (and possibly edit) any repo with a familiar and very usable UI.
