Turbolink results in empty Page

I am using Gitlab 6 on Amazon ec2 using the Bitnami Gitlab AMI ami-8c9d79fb
Everytime i click on a link (ANY Link) the url in the browser changes to the link immediately, ( turbolinks ) then the "loading" text shows up at the top of the page and after that i get a empty page. If i click a link in gitlab i have to refresh the site with F5 to get the content to show, which is honestly quite annoying.
I suspect that turbolinks is causing this issues, is there a way to disable turbolinks? Browser is Firefox 19.0.2 on Fedora
