Feature Request: Enable diagrams in wikis

The gollum wiki engine supports some nice features like sequence diagrams. Me and my company would be glad to see that feature in gitlab.
Seems like that feature is not enabled, since Gitlab ist not using the gollum gem rather then the gitlab-gollum-lib gem to reduce dependencies. That's fine, but those diagrams would be a really nice feature. Is there a way to add/enable the diagrams for the wikis?
