Syntax highlighting with doc comments

There seems to be an issue with syntax highlighting of doc comments both in the demo located at http://demo.gitlab.com/gitlab/gitlabhq/ and a local installation of GitLab. Please refer to the screenshot below.
Only the first two asterisks are highlighted with the same colour, rather than having the entire block share the same comment formatting. This was tested with javascript and php highlighting.
