[Feature Request] Testcase Management

Created by: kirantpatil

Hello,

Code, TestCase, Issue are three pillars of any software project. So it is better to start to provide the support for missing piece here.

I earlier raised it in GitLab google groups about Redmine and Ditz as possible candidates for merge in to GitLab to get Issue and TestCase support.

The reasons why they are not good to merge:

  1. Redmine/Chilliproject is very sophisticated and Redmine is more a Gitlab alternative than a complementary tool
  2. Ditz: Please find the below discussion link http://groups.google.com/group/gitlabhq/browse_thread/thread/cb4459f68d8636b0#

With that we have left nothing but to come up with new enhancement in GitLab

To get first hand experience of TestCase Management in rails, we can look at the plugin Redcase http://www.qaproject.net/

Please chime in to provide your thoughts and experiences

Thanks, Kiran.
