When a user tries to type in the URL or click a link to a group's namespace that they do not have permission to, they get a HTTP404 response. Could this be changed to at least a 403? Even better would be to allow them a prompt to send an email to the namespace owners to request permission?

Changing this would be a security issue. Attacker could scan for different responses and use this to collect data. For that reason we cannot change this.
