Can not delete branch with / in the name

Can not delete branch with / in the name

Created by: funkflute

I have a repo where someone created a branch with a / in the name, but I cannot delete it from the Commits > Branches tab, when I click the red trash icon. Is this a bug, or is there a solution?

Can you confirm, when you refresh the page it's gone?

I can confirm it is still there after I refresh after I get the Alert() dialog. The branches don't show up in a new clone from the server, and I recall deleting these branches before I upgraded from v6.x to 7, so that may be at play here.

Can you confirm this behaviour on gitlab.com?

I don't have a gitlab account. I've resolved this - must have been from the upgrade, I pulled a new version and those branches aren't there anymore. I just pushed to a new repository and they were gone. Thanks.
