Issue with Resque, MySQL and post-receive hooks

Created by: whatyoubendoing

Still having an error returned when Resque is trying to do post-recive hooks I'm using 2.4.1. Ive read through the google groups and can see that the initialiser to fix this problem is in the Rails initializers config folder, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Could there be a different issue to why this isn't working?

Mysql2::Error: MySQL server has gone away: SELECT projects.* FROM projectsWHEREprojects.path = '???' LIMIT 1
