Showing old commits in merge request which are already merged

Hi all,
While raising a new Merge Request its showing all the commits in the source branch are going to be merged now, but those commit are already merged in the target branch there is only two new commits are there to be merged.
I also searched for error trace in logs but i can't find anything.
Please help me to solve the issue.
