gitlab showing branch info even if it doesn't exist

Hi,
after creating a branch, pushing it, creating merge request and deleting branch after accepting merge request there's still some piece of information in dashboard: "You pushed to <branch_name> at <repo_name> about 1 hour ago." (+ button 'create merge request'). It would awesome if there would be some code checking if this branch still exists :)
