party/raid frames won't show in elvui

hi, i have the latest elvui and this problem has only been happening since the new expansion came out, i have everything enabled but each time i enter a party or raid the frames won't show, i made sure that i have all options checked, each time i have to click display frames and click again otherwise they simply won't show.
i checked my bf's elvui's and with him all seems to work fine only me seem to have this issue, my dbm also has been acting weird not sure why even. should i delete everything and reinstall or?
