I am trying to connect to a Gitlab running by someone else, and I have uploaded my ssh key successfully via web portal, but it always asks for password when git clone or ssh -T:

Does the git clone via HTTP(s)?
My guess is that the authorized_keys file is out of sync or has the wrong permissions. See the section on
authorized_keys file is out of sync
