Not able to fork repository

I have a problem similar to issue https://github.com/gitlabhq/gitlabhq/issues/6837 which is now closed saying the issue has been resolved.
I am trying to fork this GitLab project: https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/docs2drupal-dev/documentation-templates
When I hover over my namespace, I see this URL: https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/docs2drupal-dev/documentation-templates/fork?namespace_id=57
When I select my namespace, I get this error:
Fork Error!
You tried to fork Docs to Drupal Development / Documentation Templates but it failed for the following reason:
– Fork transaction failed.
Try to Fork again.I believe I have been given admin rights to this repository.
