Show assigned user in issues/merge requests

In the current overviews of issues and merge request you can quickly see who created the issue or merge request. But that is not as interesting most of the time. What is interesting is wether the issue/mr is assigned and to who.
Long story short, can we show the currently assigned user to an issue/mr in the overview?
