[Feature Request] Multiple Label selection

[Feature Request] Multiple Label selection

Created by: kirantpatil

We should be able to select multiple labels as in github, which helps us to search/select the bugs in easy and intuitive manner

    Hello,

I am proposing a solution similar to github

When we click on label C (Ex: Issue with 2 labels C, Kernel) it should not open the issue, instead we need to list the bugs which contains labels C, Kernel and other labels

Then we get bug with labels C, Kernel, FS, if we click on FS then the listed bugs should contains labels C, Kernel, FS and other labels

Highlighting the selected Labels is required to know which labels have been selected already. Similarly deselecting the labels should also work

    Thanks, Kiran

I'd like to try to tackle this since it's a very important feature I believe. I'm however a bit unsure about it since pull request #1120 didn't get merged.

I'm not quite sure on how the approach should be different, I just see that trying out the select2-rails gem might be viable. But I'm confused by the last comment on the pull request stating that using this gem might be an option, but later on says that writing from scratch might be easier.

Could you please elaborate @randx ? Thanks! :-)

@PragTob 1120 brokes UI. If you implement it with gem and with all styles like currently applied to chosen i'll be glad.
